SafeLocked uses RAID-10 SAN storage: the architecture tolerates multiple simultaneous hardware failures without data loss. As soon as a disk is detected as faulty, it is immediately replaced. For dedicated plans, offsite backup on physically separate storage is available, guaranteeing an independent copy even in the event of catastrophic events.
Yes. Nextcloud plans (WS and DR) include clients for Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac and Linux. Web browser access and automatic local folder synchronisation are also available. Programmatic plans (SXR) instead support FTPS, SFTP, SAMBA and CIFS for mounting as a network drive.
Shared plans (FREE, 1WS, 2WS) share the Nextcloud instance with other isolated users. Dedicated plans (DR and SXR) include a Nextcloud instance or FTPS/SAMBA storage reserved exclusively for you: you can create unlimited users, install additional apps and access the instance as full administrator.
Yes, this is one of the most common uses of SXR plans. You can mount the storage as a CIFS/SAMBA drive or access it via FTPS/SFTP directly from your backup scripts (rsync, borgbackup, duplicati, etc.). Up to 10 simultaneous mount points allow connecting multiple servers to the same storage volume.
On dedicated DR plans you have full administrator access to the Nextcloud instance and can install apps from the official marketplace (calendar, contacts, collaborative editor, video conferencing, etc.). For advanced customisations contact us: we can install and configure specific apps on request.
